Museum of Decorative Arts
The Treasury (Museum) of Decorative Arts of Iran is located in the historical building of the Rakib Khaneh (house).
This building was built in the early 11th century during the Qajar period. At that time it was used as the residence of Zal al-Sultan, governor of Isfahan. Later, in the Pahlavi period, it was used as the Civil Registration Office. This treasure consists of various calligraphy sections, painting, traditional woven fabrics, metalwork, woodwork, pottery, and glassware.
