Mosque of Seyyed is the largest and most famous mosque of Isfahan from the 13th century. During the Mohammad Shah Qajar period, Seyyed Baqir Shafti ordered to build this mosque. The mosque is decorated with a bright red color. During the Qajar time, red color was commonly used in most decorations. The tomb of Seyyed is located in the northern corner of the mosque courtyard. Inside the tomb's dome, they have used mirrors for the decoration. In this mosque, there are several inscriptions which date from 1255 to 1311 AH, with chalcography of Muhammad Baqer Sharif Shirazi.
