Kurdistan Province, Sanandaj City
- Age: 400
The Sanandaj Bazaar is a big market in the city center with a history dating back to 1046 AH. This Bazaar is in a rectangular shape; inspired by the Isfahan's Naqshe Jahan Square. A street has divided this bazaar into two separate sections, one section is called Asif, and the other part is called Sanandaj. The ceiling of the Bazaar is arched, and the dome is made of stone and brick. Although only three gates have remained in Sanandaj Bazaar, it still retains its position and value in commercial terms, despite the new shopping malls.
